Sister Deborah‘s contribution to the eternal Ghana-Nigeria Jollof Wars came in the form of a song titled “Ghana Jollof” , which made its way to Fader ??.

She spoke to Live Fm’s Berla Mundi about what motivated her to do the song and also revealed that a video to the song would soon follow.

THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE SONG

Speaking on what inspired the song, Sister Deborah revealed that “Ghana Jollof” was actually in response to a song by Princess Vitara titled “Nigerian P***y” , a song which threw shade at Ghana .

Unfortunately , Princess Vitara’s song was quite sexually explicit and She (Sister Deborah) couldn’t replicate that despite pressure from a few people to do so.  Instead, she decided to name her version “Ghana Jollof” and make it as clean of a response as possible with the help of her brother Wanlov.
